These 6 stages describe our
company's process for development
projects. |
|
|
 |
| |
| The
beginning stage of the
website design process
includes the potential
client contacting
EastWave.com for the first
time. This can be
done either through
placing an order for one
of our standard web design
packages or through
filling out a custom
website design request.
A representative will look at your
request and contact you
will a price quote for the
work requested. The
price quote will take into
consideration the focus of
the project and what the
intended result of the
site will be. If the price
quoted is approved, a
deposit fee will be
required for most
development projects to
begin. If you are
ordering a standard design
package, this deposit fee
is automatically charged
during the ordering
process. |
|
| |
 |
| |
| During
this stage, our team will begin the
development of the
project. If the
project is a new website,
any logos needed will be
created and a template
will be custom designed
for the website. A
domain name will be chosen
in this stage if it hasn't
already been decided upon.
The template will include
the website's navigation
scheme, intended colors
and general "look" of the
site. The template created
will be used as the
framework for many of the
pages in the website. |
|
| |
 |
| |
| While we
may be the Web design
professionals, we know
that we can't always come
up with the exact vision
in your head from the very
beginning. The
feedback stage is where we
will send you a "mock"
template of your site for
approval and ask for any
suggestions or changes
that need to be made.
Sometimes we can create a
project that receives
instant approval from the
client, while other times
we may even have to return
to square one and come up
with a brand new template
unlike what we originally
sent for approval.
EastWave.com is committed
to developing projects as
close to the client's
vision as possible and
gives the client as much
time as requested to meet
those goals.
Sometimes final deadlines
may be pushed back because
of this particular phase,
however it is of utmost
importance that the client
is satisfied with the
finished project. |
|
| |
 |
| |
| During the
implementation stage, the
initial design which has
been approved by the
customer will be turned
into a working website.
Depending on the project
at hand, all scripts,
databases, E-commerce
applications and other
features will be added to
your website. Depending
on the amount of
programming needed for
your website, many hours
could be spent on your
site without any visible
change able to be seen on
your pages. |
|
| |
 |
| |
| In this
stage, thorough testing is
done on your site.
In the case of website
development, we test the
website for any bugs in
the code. All links are
checked to be correct and
all dynamic pages are
tested for proper
function. We strive to
provide you with a website
that works as good as it
looks. This phase is
omitted in the case of a
graphic design and other
projects. |
|
| |
 |
| |
| This is
the final phase of our
design process. It is the
phase when we deliver what
we've developed in the
format agreed upon.
Usually, the entire 6 step
design process takes less
than 2 weeks from concept
to completion. EastWave.com will make
your site live on the web
when all quoted
development fees are paid
in full. A live site
means that website
visitors will be able to
get to your site by typing
in the domain name that
you chose. |
